Plant based Extracts - Products and Processes

 

The Subject Division deals with methods for process concepts and design as well as apparatus and production solutions for specialised applications of plant extracts, such as cosmetics, food additives, precursors, flavours and pharmaceuticals
Aims:

• Intensified, more application-oriented use of plant based extracts using more efficient production techniques
• Establishment of systematic design methods for phytoextracts in order to extract reusable materials and active substances
• Creation of an interdisciplinary communication platform for production, botany, agricultural science, biology, biochemistry, analytical techniques, process engineering, equipment production, plant construction, quality management and regulation/accreditation
