Reaction Engineering

Subject Division

Subject Division
Reaction Engineering

The aim of the Subject Division is to inform the specialist public in the framework of events and publications on cutting-edge results from research, development and application, support young scientists and positively influence the general conditions for the future development of reaction engineering. To this end, the Subject Division fosters a dialogue between universities, research institutions and industry. Reaction engineering plays a pivotal role in almost all areas of the process industry with the result that the interfaces to other disciplines are correspondingly extensive: e.g. catalysis, fluid dynamics and separation technology, membrane technology, process intensification, micro process engineering, process and systems engineering, and energy process engineering.
