Applied Inorganic Chemistry

Subject Division

The Working Party supports the exchange of scientific information and experience in the field of application-oriented research between research bodies of public law and industry. Special consideration is given to the professional development of young scientists and their integration into the scientific community. The Working Party's key tasks are the organization of the annual 'Inorganic Technical Chemistry' symposium and keeping up with trends and innovations in applied chemistry. A special focus is on new technologies and future-oriented applications of both old and new inorganic materials. A random selection of fields of interest, includes biomimetics, combinatorics, nanotechnology, structure-property relations, materials for energy storage and conversion, and novel materials.
