Thermophysical Data for Engineering Applications
Working Party
The Working Party sees its role as a link between process simulation applications in the chemical industry and the development of thermodynamic tools at universities. Its activities focus on:
- Acquisition and checking of thermophysical data, including transport and reaction kinetics data
- Assessment of data and data collections
- Assessment and development of new models for process simulation
- Monitoring new developments in measurement technologies
- Methodical fundamentals of the application of thermophysical data
- Discussion of industrial application cases
- Exchange of experience with data handling
- Highlighting the importance and benefit of high-quality data and models
