Working Party

The Working Party sees its role as an interdisciplinary expert group for chemical and chemico-technical aspects focusing on
  • the behaviour of semi-volatile and persistent organic compounds in the atmosphere
  • atmospheric chemistry and climate
  • urban air quality
The Working Party pursues the following principal targets in the context of scientific issues and regulatory measures:
  • Discussion and assessment of the state-of-the-art of R&D
  • Identification of knowledge deficits and need for action
  • R&D initiatives to remedy the deficits
  • Scientific supervision and drafting of statements on regulations
