Working Party
The Working Party sees its role as an interdisciplinary expert group for chemical and chemico-technical aspects focusing on
- the behaviour of semi-volatile and persistent organic compounds in the atmosphere
- atmospheric chemistry and climate
- urban air quality
The Working Party pursues the following principal targets in the context of scientific issues and regulatory measures:
- Discussion and assessment of the state-of-the-art of R&D
- Identification of knowledge deficits and need for action
- R&D initiatives to remedy the deficits
- Scientific supervision and drafting of statements on regulations
