Subject Division

The Subject Division deals with the environmentally friendly disposal and recycling of waste, with comparative evaluation based on technological feasibility and sustainability aspects, and also with recovery and use of waste for energy production.
The Subject Division provides an expert forum for
  • the exchange of ideas and experience between science, industry and specialized public administration institutions both nationally and with neighbouring European countries
  • information on waste treatment topics
  • the discussion of development shortfalls and research activities
